Harold Seaman, Marty Himes, Ken Spooner, and Reggie Himes (left to right). The best thing about a visit to the Himes Museum is having the opportunity to meet any or all of these gentlemen & others too on any given day. These men are heroes as well as friends. According to Marty, a trip to the museum is a religious experience for most visitors, who all say the same thing-"Oh my God". An incredible & growing display of racing history including Midget and Stock cars, tow vehicles, souvenirs, trophies, helmets, fire suits, shirts, hats, gloves, uniforms, models, flags, pennants, signs, posters, patches, club arm bands, lapel pins, etc. And over 300,000 pictures! The address is 15 O'Neil Avenue in Bay Shore, phone #(631) 666-4912. Call ahead because Marty may be out picking up more stuff! All racing memorabilia donated and all contributions are gratefully accepted. |
